MISSION
It is the philosophy of Spaulding Support Services that all persons are inherently valuable and as such are entitled to respect
of their right to receive basic services necessary to enable them to maintain and develop their personal well being.
Spaulding Support Services is committed to promote and support the personal choices and needs of individuals with
developmental disabilities and their families.
Our mission is to support the evolving needs of people with developmental disabilities by focusing our efforts on assistance for people
to live in homes of their choice; assistance in locating and utilizing supports to accomplish personal goals and to meet personal needs;
and assistance to families and caregivers in the day to day care of their loved one with a developmental disability.
Spaulding Support Services advances this mission by focusing its efforts in the following areas:
- Residential Habilitation Services (guidance and support staff to assist people in their day to day lives so that people can become
more independent, participate in their community and realize their personal goals).
- Case Management / Service Coordination (assessment of needs, service planning, community linkage and referral, monitoring
and follow up, and advocacy).
- Respite Services (providing families with occasional breaks from the day to day responsibilities of caregiving while at the same
time giving their children opportunities to enjoy socialization and community activities).
