Residential and Respite Counselors


Spaulding Support Services is a private, non-profit agency that provides residential and family support services for people with developmental disabilities.

Counselors provide assistance, support and training to people receiving our services. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, budgeting, social skills and personal care.

Full-time, part-time and substitute positions are available. Typical work schedules include evening and/or weekend hours.

Full-time positions include low-cost medical and dental insurance, and a generous paid time off package.

Substitute positions provide flexible hours that can fit well with work or school schedules.

Extensive paid training is provided. There are excellent opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and a valid NY State driver's license. Some positions require use of your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement.
